The Easter Bunny Is Real (and Eerily Huge)

Until recently, if you went hiking up the Colletto Fava mountain in Italy's Piedmont region, you would have seen a 200-foot-long pink stuffed bunny rabbit visible from space! So what's the story? Back in 2005, a Viennese art group wanted to create a space where hikers could relax after climbing the mountain. So, they built a massive, pink, stuffed rabbit with its entrails spilling onto the side of the hill.

The art installation is officially called Hase (German for "hare"). Can you still visit? Unfortunately not. While it was expected to last longer, the alpine elements destroyed the Pink Rabbit by 2016.
