Yes, this really happened. As the Streetview van passed an address in Wallingford, Connecticut, USA, this pair was caught playing a dangerous game of "shoot the apple on your son's head." But do you think these guys were genuinely performing their bow and arrow target practice? Or did they hear the van and rush into position for a well-timed gag? It certainly looks like dad is ready to let a real arrow go speeding toward his son's head.

This is why we've titled this snapshot "Seconds before disaster struck." Goodness, we hope dad has good aim. Otherwise, his son's head might've ended up squished like a cartoon character.
