This House Was Caught in the Middle of Getting Undressed

You've heard of temperatures being so hot that the asphalt melts, right? And you might also be aware that England recently experienced its hottest day ever recorded. As fields and houses in London and around the United Kingdom burned, the record-breaking 40.3 degrees Celsius (104.5 degrees Fahrenheit) heatwave even caused the facade of this house to melt right off its walls. That's right - the house isn't just getting undressed to slip into something comfy; it's falling apart!

Okay, we're joking. This incredible image is actually an art installation in Margate, Kent, east of London. Artist Alex Chinneck created it, and the house was derelict and about to be demolished.
