Once Upon This Island

The conversation about trans people has grown increasingly heated in recent years, yet many arguments against them often seem bizarre and completely unfounded. Take this example: Why would anyone put 110 people on a deserted island in the first place? What’s the purpose? Even if we entertain the idea, a community all descended from the same 10 men would likely face serious genetic and social challenges

So, why does their gender identity even matter in this scenario? It doesn’t. The focus should be on whether they can thrive and coexist peacefully, not on irrelevant details. Trans people, like anyone else, deserve respect and acceptance without unnecessary scrutiny. Instead of fixating on hypotheticals, let’s hope they all managed to build a supportive and inclusive community on that island. After all, isn’t that what truly matters—creating spaces where everyone can feel valued and understood?
