Kim Kardashian lit up social media when she attended the 2021 Met Gala. The theme was " Celebrating In America: A Lexicon Of Fashion," and Kim later admitted she was perplexed by Balenciaga's creative director Demna's vision for the event. Quite understandably, Kim failed to see why she should cover up her face. We can only guess that Demna was inspired by The Gimp from Quentin Tarantino's seminal 1994 film Pulp Fiction!

Kim nearly missed the whole event. At first, her entourage couldn't find her in the dark. Then, when they did eventually find her, they were told: "The Gimp's Sleeping." We're sorry for the dad jokes.
